Speech Language Pathology & Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®)
MaryFrances is the founder and CEO of Sound Mouths, a private practice providing virtual and in-person speech, language, and orofacial myofunctional therapy to children and adults.
MaryFrances is passionate about making clients feel heard regarding their unsolved health concerns. The team approach at Sound Mouths factors the client’s symptoms to determine the root cause and establish a customized plan to remedy it. Our therapy focuses on cultivating a sound mouth, whole-body health, and improved well-being.
Since 2001, MaryFrances has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed Virginia Speech, Language, and Hearing Association member. MaryFrances received her Certification from the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) in 2019.
MaryFrances is dedicated to expanding the awareness of Speech and Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders to the public and other allied health professionals. MaryFrances has presented professional seminars locally and globally. MaryFrances is continually expanding her knowledge and keeping up to date on current literature and best industry practices. She collaborates closely with her local colleagues and providers to provide exceptional care for her clients.
